Peter Rosenberg and DJ Vlad have had tensions for years, but their latest exchange has left fans wondering what reignited the feud.
DJ Vlad launched an attack on Rosenberg through X (formerly Twitter) by criticizing his professional achievements and financial situation. Vlad warned upcoming Hip-Hop media platforms to study Peter Rosenberg’s mistakes because he remains stuck in the same position after twenty years. “Same dead-end, low-paying radio job for 20 years. Never got a promotion.” According to him Rosenberg received a demotion at Hot 97 after Ebro Darden became the host of the morning show. Vlad pointed out the limited success of Rosenberg’s YouTube channel which has accumulated 50,000 followers yet most of his videos attract less than 1,000 viewers after two decades. According to Vlad his prediction is that Rosenberg will finish his career both poor and filled with resentment.
Rosenberg responded immediately to the situation. Stephen A. Smith received a message about this during First Take commercial break. Your YouTube exploitation of people is successful according to you.
The ongoing feud between Vlad and Rosenberg started more than ten years ago and continues to this day despite the unclear reason for their recent conflict. Rosenberg used Twitter in 2010 to describe Vlad as “the garbage pail kid version of WorldStarHipHop.”
Rosenberg has engaged in multiple media disputes throughout his recent activities. During February he criticized Joe Budden on the tenth anniversary of The Joe Budden Podcast by accusing him of not recognizing those who supported him at the start. The writer expressed a desire to recognize the people who supported him since day one.
Fans remain uncertain about the nature of this exchange because tensions between the two remain elevated.
