Boosie Badazz is preparing to welcome his ninth child!
On April 6, 2025, the rapper celebrated a special milestone with his fiancée, Rajel Nelson, by hosting a baby shower for their soon-to-arrive daughter. Sharing the joyful moments on Instagram, Boosie wrote, “#BABYSHOWER #familytime ALMOST THAT TIME TO POP OUT LITTLE GIRL.” In addition to celebrating the upcoming birth, he surprised Rajel with a lavish “push gift” — a brand-new BMW SUV.
Boosie, who already has eight children from six different women, is known for his strong bond with his kids. Two of them, Iviona (Poison IVI) and Torrance Jr. (Tootie Raw), are rising stars in the rap industry. The rest of his children, known by their nicknames Ivi, Ty, Tootie, Tori, Ivy Ray, Lyric Bey, MJ, and Laila, have a shared Instagram account, @tha_hatchkiddz, where they often showcase their lives.
Controversial Parenting & Family Drama
Despite his open love for his kids, Boosie has faced major criticism over his parenting choices. One of the most controversial incidents occurred in 2020 when he admitted to hiring an adult woman to engage in inappropriate acts with his son, claiming it was his way of “teaching” him about manhood. His remarks sparked outrage, with many calling it highly inappropriate.
In another incident during a 2022 live stream, Boosie encouraged his 18-year-old son to closely observe exotic dancers in an explicit manner. These actions have led to significant debates about his views on parenting.
Additionally, Boosie has had public disputes with some of his children. His daughter, Iviona, who is openly gay, recently called him out for hypocrisy. In an interview on The Danza Project, she criticized her father for disapproving of her sexuality while promoting similar behavior at his events. She referenced his comments on Caresha Please, where he admitted to not allowing her to bring her girlfriend home, claiming he didn’t want her to “contaminate” his space.
“I didn’t even know there was a problem until he said it on Caresha Please! We were just at your topless pool party, where girls were doing all kinds of things, but I’M contamination?” she stated.
